my country’s industrial robots sprint high-end lack of key technologies
However, it is worth noting that due to the relatively late start of my country’s industrial robot industry, there is still a significant gap with developed countries in terms of industrial scale and technology research and development. Especially under the background that the research and development of the three core Robot Components such as reducer, controller and servo system is still constrained by developed countries such as Europe, America and Japan, most domestic robot companies are still concentrated in the industrial chain of system integration, processing and assembly, etc. The development trend of “low-end” of high-end industries is gradually emerging.
Recently, the Hunan Provincial Bureau of Statistics’ investigation and research report on the development of Changsha’s industrial robot industry showed that “low level of industrial structure” has become a “bottleneck” that needs to be broken through in the development of the industrial robot industry. The survey conducted a questionnaire survey and interviews with 32 industrial robot manufacturers in Changsha and found that due to the lack of production capacity of core components such as reducers and controllers, most of Changsha’s industrial robot manufacturers currently focus on the production of ontology and system integration. Midstream and downstream business level.

The survey shows that in 2015, the number of enterprises producing ontology among Changsha industrial robot enterprises accounted for 53.6% of all industrial robot enterprises, the output value and main business income accounted for 46.9% and 51.7% respectively, and the number of enterprises engaged in system integration accounted for all industrial robot enterprises. 32.1% of the robot enterprises, the output value and the main business income accounted for 52% and 47.1% respectively. At the same time, there are only a handful of manufacturers of industrial robot core components located in the upstream of the industrial chain. In the survey, there are only 2 companies producing key components, and 1 of them is still in the stage of R&D and trial production. The output value and main business income only account for 5.8% and 6.7% of all industrial robot companies.
In fact, the core components of robots such as reducers and controllers are not only the most profitable parts of the robot system, but also account for the highest proportion of production costs. The above survey reflects the “low-end” development pattern of the domestic industrial robot industry. It is bound to directly affect the market competitiveness of domestic Industrial Robots and even the long-term healthy development of the industry, which should not be underestimated.
At present, my country’s manufacturing industry is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading, and the upsurge of “machine substitution” can be said to be in the ascendant. From an objective point of view, compared with developed countries, my country’s manufacturingautomationThere is still a lot of room for improvement. Judging from the density of Industrial Robots, which is an indicator for measuring the rate of industrial automation, the current density of industrial robots in my country is 49 per 10,000 people, which is lower than the world average. There is a big difference. This undoubtedly means that the growth potential of my country’s industrial robot market is huge, and the future broad industrial development prospects are self-evident.
