In order to improve the level of Industrial information security protection, cultivate professional and compound technical talents, and build a national industrial information security technology exchange platform, it is directed by the Network Security Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, sponsored by the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, Fengtai Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. provides technical support. The 2022 Sixth Industrial Information Security Skills Competition Finals and Industrial Control System Digital Twin Scenario Competition (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”) will be held on March 19, 2023 in the National Industrial Information Security Development organized by the research center.

Since the first “Industrial Information Security Skills Competition” was successfully held in 2017, after five years of intensive cultivation, the competition has been successfully built into a national industrial information security professional event brand. The 6th Industrial Information Security Skills Competition in 2022 launched nationwide registration in July last year, attracting a total of 285 teams and 1018 people to sign up for the competition. The participating teams covered multiple industries in 31 provincial-level administrative regions across the country, and it took nearly 4 months. Through the combination of “online race + offline race” and fierce competition in the preliminaries and semi-finals of “6 track races + 4 championships”, 50 teams with solid theoretical knowledge and practical skills were selected nationwide. The winning team with strong ability enters the finals.

Digital twin is one of the most promising enabling technologies to realize smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0. It is widely used in various industries with its seamless integration between network and physical space, and its universal theoretical system, especially in the industrial field of manufacturing industry. The theme of this competition is “Industrial Control System Digital Twin Scenario Competition”, relying on the high-level scientific research platform of the Center’s “Industrial Information Security Perception and Evaluation Technology Key Laboratory”, through the introduction of digital twins, the factory production process, equipment operation and product High-fidelity simulation of production business such as design, to create a comprehensive system covering cement production, electric power generation, oil and gas exploitation, rail transit, gas system, urban power supply, petroleum refining, urban water supply, urban heating, equipment manufacturing, hydropower generation, steel technology, coal Crafts and other 13 typical industrial DCS arenas to explore innovative solutions for industrial information security.

The finals will end on the same day, when the results will be confirmed and an awards ceremony will be held, and the top ten teams will be rewarded in the competition. We will wait and see which ten teams will win the award!
